Cooper Flagg Injury Update: 3/13/25 vs. Georgia Tech

UPDATE: Flagg has returned to Duke’s bench for the second half of Thursday’s game. He has been ruled out for the rest of the contest, per ESPN.

Cooper Flagg was assisted into the locker room during Duke’s ACC Tournament quarterfinals matchup with Georgia Tech. The incident occurred with less than three minutes remaining in the first half. The forward landed awkwardly after jumping for a rebound, appearing to injure his left ankle.

Minutes later, Flagg was seen in a wheelchair being taken for further evaluation. Duke has announced that the 18-year-old is doubtful to return on Thursday.

An extended absence for Flagg would be devastating for Duke, the #1-ranked squad in the nation. The freshman leads the team in points (19.4), rebounds (7.6), assists (4.2), steals (1.5) and blocks (1.3) per game. At +380, the Blue Devils currently have the second-best odds to win the national title on DraftKings Sportsbook.
