UConn vs. Villanova (9:30 p.m. ET)

Villanova beat UConn 68-66 on January 8, but the Huskies came out on top in their previous matchup on February 18. After beginning the season ranked No. 3 in college basketball, UConn has struggled but has bounced back recently, winning its last four games.

The Wildcats’ best player, Eric Dixon, is the leading scorer in college basketball, averaging 23.5 points per contest. He totaled 23 and 17 points against UConn this season. In Villanova’s last four games, Dixon has scored 32-plus points twice. With Dixon’s elite play alongside elite guard Wooga Poplar, the Wildcats have a chance against anyone in the Big East. Poplar has two double-doubles in his last four games.

Even though UConn has the edge in experience with two-time national champion head coach Dan Hurley leading the way, this spread is too large. Villanova is +6.5 against UConn on DraftKings Sportsbook. Three of Villanova’s last four losses were by less than seven points.

College Basketball Pick: Villanova +6.5
