Baylor vs. Texas Tech (7:00 p.m. ET)
Norchad Omier and VJ Edgecombe had double-doubles in yesterday’s Bears’ victory. Omier has been Baylor’s leading scorer this season and a double-double machine. He has had at least 10 points and 10 rebounds in 12 of the previous 14 games. Baylor has won three of its past four games and is heating up at the perfect time.
Baylor’s last three losses were all by four or fewer points. Yes, Texas Tech beat Baylor by 14 points on February 4, but they have improved recently. Baylor is +5.5 and +235 to win the game outright on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Texas Tech went 24-7 this season while being 15-5 in the Big 12. Red Raiders big man JT Toppin has been incredible in the previous eight games. He has had three games with 30-plus points during that period and six double-doubles. Baylor held Toppin to only eight points in their first game, and if they can limit his production, they should have a chance to win this game. Veteran guard Jeremy Roach has only scored 10-plus points twice in the previous four games. Having a good game from Roach is essential to the Bears’ success.
College Basketball Pick: Baylor +6.5
