- Hornets at Hawks, 7:30 p.m.
- Thunder at Celtics, 7:30 PM
- 76ers at Raptors, 7:30 PM
- Clippers at Heat, 8 p.m.
- Suns at Rockets, 8 PM
- Jazz at Grizzlies, 8PM
- Mavericks at Spurs, 8PM
- Timberwolves at Nuggets, 10PM
- Knicks at Trail Blazers, 10PM
Thunder +2 (-105)
Two of the favorites to win this year’s NBA championship will meet when the Celtics host the Thunder. Boston enters the game riding a five-game win streak and will look to stay hot, but it’s shown vulnerabilities, such as nearly squandering a 24-point lead against the Jazz.
Oklahoma City, still atop the Western Conference, is coming off a split against the Nuggets and is determined to bounce back after Monday’s loss. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continues to lead the Thunder and could help keep it close against a Celtics team missing key players, including Kristaps Porzingis. While Jalen Williams remains without a timetable for return, which will hurt Oklahoma City, Jayson Tatum is questionable to play with a knee injury.
Grizzlies -12 (-110)
The Grizzlies are coming off a solid win against the Suns, even with key players like Jaren Jackson Jr. sidelined. Despite injuries, Memphis has proven to be a deep team, with Ja Morant and Desmond Bane stepping up to lead the charge. Now, it takes on the Utah Jazz, who have been struggling, losing six straight and sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference.
Memphis’ depth and defensive intensity should overwhelm Utah, which is without star Lauri Markkanen and has been plagued by inconsistency. This is an excellent opportunity for the Grizzlies to cover the spread and continue their push toward the postseason.
Mavericks +6 (-108)
The Mavericks will look to complete a season sweep of the Spurs when they meet for the second time in three nights. Despite an injury-riddled roster, Dallas beat the Spurs in the first game of the miniseries, with Spencer Dinwiddie, Klay Thompson and Naji Marshall leading the charge.
San Antonio has struggled, losing three straight and playing without Victor Wembanyama. The team is likely more focused on draft position at this point of the season, while the Mavericks must fight to stay in the play-in seeding. With the Spurs failing to lock down defensively, Dallas’ resilience and balanced attack should help it cover the spread in this matchup.
Timberwolves +4 (-112)
The Timberwolves have been on fire, winning five straight games heading into their matchup with the Nuggets. With Rudy Gobert back in the lineup, the Timberwolves’ defense is bolstered but will be challenged significantly by trying to contain Nikola Jokic, the reigning NBA MVP.
Although Denver has been strong at home and has a solid supporting cast, the Timberwolves have shown the ability to win against tough teams, with Anthony Edwards leading the charge. Expect another close game, with Minnesota having a real chance to cover the spread in a challenging environment.
Heat -2.5 (-110)
The Heat will try to snap a four-game losing streak when they host the Clippers. Miami has lost all four games by five points or fewer, indicating it is still competitive despite its struggles. With Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro performing at high levels, the Heat should be able to execute better down the stretch and come out on top.
The Clippers, meanwhile, have been up and down, especially with head coach Tyronn Lue sidelined. While Kawhi Leonard and James Harden continue to play well, Miami’s defensive intensity and home-court advantage should allow it to cover the spread and win.
