Domantas Sabonis Injury Update: 3/14/25 vs. the Suns

UPDATE: Sabonis missed Thursday’s game but is available on Friday.

Domantas Sabonis ($9,200) has missed the last five games due to a hamstring injury. He practiced on Wednesday and is officially listed as questionable for Thursday’s contest against the Golden State Warriors.

Sabonis has had success against Golden State this season, putting up 50.75, 54 and 47 FPTS, but he’s unlikely to play over 30 minutes in this one, returning from an extended layoff.

Jonas Valanciunas ($7,900) filled in admirably for Sabonis, contributing at least 30 FPTS in all five games, with three of those over 40 FPTS. The return of Sabonis and the matchup against the Warriors don’t bode well for his fantasy prospects because Golden State will likely go small and play him off the floor.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
