After a rough start to the season, the University of North Carolina Tar Heels have won six of their previous seven games. However, UNC did lose its regular season finale against its rival, the Duke Blue Devils. UNC had a bye in the first round of the ACC conference tournament, but they will face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. ET in the second round.

Here’s a college basketball pick between North Carolina and Notre Dame for Wednesday’s game.

North Carolina vs. Notre Dame (2:30 p.m. ET)

The first time these two teams played each other this season, UNC won 74-73. Tar Heels guard Ian Jackson led the team with 27 points in that matchup. Notre Dame is on a three-game win streak after beating Pittsburgh 55-54 in Tuesday’s first round of the ACC tournament. Although the first matchup was close, UNC is a -7.5 favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Fifth-year guard RJ Davis is the catalyst for North Carolina’s success. He is averaging 17.3 points, 3.8 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game this season. He only scored eight points against Notre Dame on January 4. Davis has scored 20-plus points three times in the previous six games.

Before UNC lost to Duke on Saturday, they had beaten their previous five opponents by 11 or more points. Seth Trimble has been a big part of the Tar Heels, scoring 17 points in two of the last four games. Consistency has been an issue for North Carolina this season. But when they are on, UNC has one of the most talented backcourts in the country with Davis, Trimble, Jackson, and Elliot Cadeau. Notre Dame has only scored 55 and 56 points in two of their last three wins and it seems like they will struggle to keep up with UNC’s offense.

College Basketball Pick: North Carolina -7.5
