For the second day in a row, the Nuggets are facing the Thunder in Oklahoma City. On DraftKings Sportsbook, the Thunder are favored by nine points and the game carries a total of 238 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Nikola Jokic prop bet to consider from this contest.

Best Nikola Jokic Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Nikola Jokic O 25.5 Points (-125)

After being held to 24 points by the Thunder yesterday, Jokic should have a better showing as a scorer in Monday’s rematch with Oklahoma City. First off, the center has been incredible on the second leg of back-to-back sets this season, averaging 33.1 PPG over the eight instances he has played his second game in two nights. Also, Aaron Gordon hurt his calf yesterday vs. the Thunder and didn’t return to the contest. Gordon was sidelined for over 20 games with a calf injury earlier this season, and while the Nuggets’ injury report for Monday has yet to be released, Gordon playing Monday would be a big surprise.

With Gordon likely inactive, Jokic should take on a larger role as a scorer and dominate. In the 20 starts he has made with Gordon sidelined this season, Jokic is averaging 31.4 PPG with a 31.3% usage rate, which is a 2.4 percentage point increase from his season average.

Lastly, while the Thunder lead the league in defensive rating this season, they should rest Chet Holmgren after the big man played yesterday. Holmgrem hasn’t played two games in two nights since November, as he is regularly rested for one leg of back-to-back sets. Holmgren is an outstanding defender and the Thunder’s defensive rating has been nearly two points worse with him off court this season.

This 25.5-point line is too low for Jokic in this situation and attacking him for this over quickly is a sharp move, as this number will increase once Gordon and Holmgren are ruled out.
