Grizzlies -4 (-112)
The Suns, currently pushing for a spot in the play-in tournament, will visit the Grizzlies. The Suns enter the matchup after a 125-116 victory over the Mavericks, with key performances from Devin Booker (24 points) and Kevin Durant (21 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists). However, the Suns have their work cut out on the road, especially after a heartbreaking 151-148 overtime loss to Memphis in February. The Grizzlies come into this game on a strong note, winning back-to-back games after a four-game home losing streak. Despite recent shooting struggles, Memphis has been carried by clutch performances from Ja Morant and Desmond Bane. Morant had a season-high 32 points in Sunday’s 107-104 victory over New Orleans, while Bane added 30 points and 9 rebounds. Memphis will lean on its star backcourt to cover the spread while defending homecourt.
Magic +4.5 (-108)
Orlando stunned the Bucks with a 111-109 win on Saturday, snapping a five-game losing streak. Paolo Banchero led the way with 29 points as the Magic survived a tense final minute, holding off a Bucks’ comeback. The win marked a much-needed boost for Orlando, which has been battling through close losses this season. With contributions from Franz Wagner (18 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists) and Cole Anthony (22 points, 9 assists), the Magic have remained resilient. The Bucks, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who scored 37 points in the loss, have been dominant this season. However, Orlando’s ability to grind out close wins and defend as a unit should help the team cover the +4.5 spread.
Mavericks +6.5 (-105)
The Spurs and Mavericks face off in an intriguing matchup, with both teams dealing with injury issues. The Mavericks are without superstar Luka Doncic, who was traded to the Lakers, and Kyrie Irving is out for the season due to a knee injury. Dallas has suffered five straight losses, including a 125-116 defeat to Phoenix. San Antonio is also struggling without Victor Wembanyama, who is sidelined for the season. The Spurs are now under interim coach Mitch Johnson and will rely on De’Aaron Fox, who scored 22 points in Sunday’s loss. The Mavericks, with possibly only eight players available, will need strong performances from their remaining rotation, but they could surprise in this game and cover the spread, despite the circumstances.
Kings +3 (-115)
The Knicks head into Monday’s matchup with the Kings looking to snap a three-game losing streak. New York is missing Jalen Brunson, who sprained his right ankle. The Knicks have been struggling on this Western swing, suffering losses to the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers. The Kings, meanwhile, have struggled, most recently falling to the Clippers in overtime. Without Domantas Sabonis (strained left hamstring), Sacramento will lean on the likes of Zach LaVine and Keegan Murray. Sacramento has been unable to close out games recently, and with the Knicks reeling without Brunson, look for Sacramento to cover the +3 spread in this tightly contested matchup.
Warriors -12 (-108)
The Trail Blazers are struggling, having lost 119-112 to Detroit on Sunday, and now face a daunting task on the road against the Warriors. After a 115-110 win over Detroit, the Warriors are back on track and have shown they can dominate when needed, especially with their recent Jimmy Butler acquisition. Golden State also comes in well-rested after a day off, while the Blazers are dealing with injuries to key players like Deandre Ayton and Robert Williams. With Stephen Curry on a roll and the team hitting a new gear with Jimmy Butler, Golden State should overpower a depleted Portland squad. Look for the Warriors to cover the spread comfortably in this one, as the Blazers will struggle to keep up with the defending champions’ high-scoring offense and defensive intensity.
Nuggets +9 (-112)
The Thunder are riding a seven-game winning streak, including a victory over Denver to begin a two-game mini-series, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Over the past three games, he’s averaged 44.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 6.7 assists. The Nuggets, however, are looking to bounce back after a loss to Oklahoma City on Sunday. Jokic, having another MVP-caliber season, had 24 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists in the loss, which should help cover the spread. While the Thunder have been dominant, the Nuggets should cover the +9 spread, especially if they can contain Gilgeous-Alexander and execute their offense efficiently.
Pacers -6 (-112)
The Pacers are on the road to face the Bulls with an eye on securing a higher seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Indiana has been solid lately, although they have struggled on the road recently, with three losses in five games. Tyrese Haliburton’s absence due to a hip flexor injury has been a factor, but Bennedict Mathurin returned to the lineup with 30 points on Saturday. Chicago has been making strides in the play-in race with two straight wins. However, Chicago is dealing with plenty of injuries, with Lonzo Ball listed as doubtful, while Nikola Vucevic and Patrick Williams are questionable. Indiana has dominated Chicago this season, and they’ll be looking for another win to keep pace in the playoff race, adding confidence in their ability to cover the -6 spread.
