Anthony Edwards U 28.5 Points (-125)

Anthony Edwards has fallen well short of this number in four of his last six starts and Julius Randle (groin) being healthy again for the Timberwolves hurts Edwards in the scoring department. The guard is scoring 26.6 PPG in the 52 starts he has made alongside Randle and Edwards’ usage rate has been 1.5 percentage points lower than his average when sharing the floor with Randle this season.

Plus, Edwards has already faced the Spurs three times this season and he has struggled in this matchup, scoring 21, 26 and 14 points, in that order. Lastly, the Timberwolves are an 11-point favorite for this game on DraftKings Sportsbook and if Minnesota runs away with a win, Edwards’ playing time could be cut short.

All in all, this 28.5-point line is just too high for Edwards on Sunday and backing him for under this number is a smart move.
