LeBron James suffered a groin strain on Saturday against the Celtics and won’t return to the game. He left the contest with 6:44 remaining in the fourth quarter.

James has been relatively healthy all season, having played in all but four of the Lakers’ games to this point. The severity of the injury has not been revealed, but James’ night is done in Boston.
The Lakers had kept the game close at the time of James’ exit. Boston led 94-85 when James to the locker room. He finished tonight’s game with 22 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists on 11-of-23 shooting from the field.
