Noah Clowney Status Update: 3/8/25 vs. the Hornets

Noah Clowney (SHOWDOWN $8,400) missed the last 15 games due to an ankle injury. He’s off the injury report and will make his return on Saturday against the Charlotte Hornets.

There was optimism for Clowney this season due to his production at the end of last season. He started the final four games of the season, averaging 10.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals, 2.0 blocks and 0.8 treys in 35.6 minutes per game. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been able to take that second-year leap due to a combination of limited playing time early on and change in role, as he’s been more perimeter based.

Even though Cameron Johnson has already been ruled out for Saturday, I wouldn’t expect Clowney to start or play significant minutes, as the Nets will likely ease him back into the mix. Toward the end of the season, Clowney could be a factor, but I have doubts that he replicates the flashes from last season.
