Tyler Herro Injury Update: 3/7/25 vs. the Timberwolves

Herro missed Wednesday’s loss to the Cavaliers with an illness and he has been listed as questionable for Friday’s matchup vs. the Timberwolves. Andrew Wiggins (ankle), Jaime Jaquez Jr. (ankle) and Alec Burks (back) are also questionable, while Kel’el Ware (knee) will miss his third in a row.

Herro is in the midst of his first All-Star season with the guard averaging 23.9 points, 5.7 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game, while leading the Heat with a 28.2% usage rate. If Herro remains out, Bam Adebayo will continue to operate as the Heat’s main player. With Herro out Wednesday vs. Cleveland, Adebayo went off for 34 points, 12 rebounds and five assists with a 28.6% usage rate (62.5 FPTS).

Also, if any of Wiggins, Jaquez Jr. or Burks play and Herro is out, those active players will benefit from an expanded role in Herro’s absence. Now, if Herro and one or more of Wiggins, Jaquez Jr. or Burks is inactive, expect Terry Rozier and Duncan Robinson to see more work.

The Heat are 0-3 with Herro out this season and they will likely will be an underdog vs. the Timberwolves once the lines for this tilt are released on DraftKings Sportsbook.
