While Young’s numbers have been strong, the guard has been struggling from beyond the arc since the All-Star break, shooting 26% on three pointers. During this seven-game stretch, Young is averaging 2.0 made three pointers per game, and he has only gone over 2.5 three pointers in two of these contests.

Young is facing the Pacers on Thursday and while Indiana ranks 17th in defensive efficiency, they have been great at defending the perimeter. The Pacers are giving up the fifth-fewest made three pointers this season and since the All-Star break, no team in the NBA has yielded fewer made three pointers than Indiana at 10.3 per game. Specifically to point guards, the Pacers are allowing the second-fewest made three pointers per game this season.

Combine Young’s recent outside shooting struggles with this poor matchup and he should should stay under 2.5 made three pointers Thursday.
