UPDATE: Tatum is available to play.

For the second night in a row, the Celtics present a crowded injury report. Tatum ($10,100, shoulder) and Sam Hauser ($3,800, ankle) are questionable for Thursday’s matchup vs. the 76ers, while Brown (knee), Kristaps Porzingis (illness), Jrue Holiday (finger), and Al Horford (toe) are out.
Tatum, Porzingis and Holiday missed Wednesday’s win over the Trail Blazers, while Brown, Horford, and Hauser played.
Hauser exited that game late in pain with a sprained ankle and is unlikely to play. Tatum has a chance to suit up, as sitting out on Wednesday felt like a rest day for the superstar, with it being the Celtics’ first game in two nights.
If Tatum plays, he will see a huge role with Brown, Porzingis, Holiday, and Horford missing. With those four players off the floor this season, Tatum’s usage skyrockets 9.9 percentage points to 40.7%, and he scores 38.6 points per 36 minutes. Fantasy wise, Tatum produces 1.6 FPTS per minute in this situation.
But if Tatum sits, Derrick White ($7,100) and Payton Pritchard ($5,500) will once again be the focal points of Boston’s offense, after these two guards both went for career highs with Tatum inactive Wednesday. In the win over Portland, Pritchard scored 43 points (69.5 FPTS) and White was right behind him with 41 points (59.75 FPTS), making them the first duo in the history of the Celtics to both score 40+ in the same game.
Given Boston is down three starters, Pritchard and White will still handle huge roles and be strong DFS options if Tatum plays, but their ceilings will obviously be much higher if the Tatum remains sidelined.
With Porizingis and Horford missing in the front-court, Luke Kornet ($4,400) should start at center and Neemias Queta ($3,900) should operate as his backup, making both appealing punt plays for DFS against this 76ers team that ranks dead last in defensive rating over their last 10.
The Celtics have won eight of their last 10. Despite their lengthy injury report, Boston is a 13-point favorite over the 76ers on DraftKings Sportsbook. Philadelphia is 1-9 in their last 10 and Joel Embiid (knee) and Tyrese Maxey (back) are out, while Paul George (groin) is questionable. With Embiid and Maxey inactive this season, the 76ers are 1-5.
