Tyrese Haliburton Injury Update: 3/6/2025 vs. the Hawks

UPDATE: Haliburton is out.

Tyrese Haliburton ($8,800) has missed only one game this season, which came back on January 14 due to hamstring tightness. He’s in danger of missing his second due to a hip issue, as he’s now questionable for Thursday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks.

Haliburton did play 36 minutes on Tuesday and there’s been no mention of when the injury occurred or the severity of it.

Indiana plays the Hawks on Thursday and Saturday, both games in Atlanta, so there is no back-to-back scenario.

If Haliburton is unable to go, then Ben Sheppard ($3,400) would likely enter the starting lineup with Andrew Nembhard ($5,000) sliding to point guard. Nembhard averages 0.83 FPTS per minute while Sheppard is primarily out there to space the floor. The latter averages a paltry 0.66 FPTS per minute.

It would be a shame if Haliburton were to miss this matchup against the Hawks, as Atlanta has been first in pace and 24th in defensive rating over the last 10 games. In addition, Haliburton has been cooking lately, putting up at least 47 FPTS in each of the last seven games with four over 50 and a high of 67.75 FPTS.
