The Minnesota Timberwolves sit seventh in the Western Conference at 34-29 as they seek a three-game win streak tonight against the Hornets.

Here’s a couple of top prop bet options on DraftKings Sportsbook for star shooting guard Anthony Edwards before the contest tips off at 7 p.m. EST.

DraftKings Sportsbook lists Edwards’ prop lines for tonight at 28.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists. His PTS + REB + AST O/U is 41.5.

The 14-46 Hornets are a bit of a deceptive matchup. Despite their record, they fall middle-of-the-pack in defensive rating at 16th in the NBA, 13th in opponent points per game, and hold opponents to the fourth-lowest three-point percentage overall.

Edwards’ points line is a bit too high for my liking, so targeting under the 28.5 mark could be worth it at -110 odds. The 23-year-old has gone under this line in three of his last four outings and 37 of 60 games on the season. He’s averaging 27.2 PPG since the All-Star break, so this may be a close one. However, Julius Randle is back in the lineup and will be soaking up some of Edwards’ usage. While the latter is perfectly capable of high-scoring nights, this feels a bit like a trap game, so the under may be worth a look.

On that note, we’re also eyeing the under on Edwards’ three-pointers. As mentioned above, Charlotte ranks fourth in the NBA in opponent three-point percentage and 17th in opponent three-pointers made. The numbers are admirable given that they rank 27th overall in opponent three-point attempts, so even though other teams take a high volume in matchups with the Hornets, they just don’t convert that well. Under 3.5 three-pointers for Edwards is available at -130 odds, so while the value isn’t fantastic, it’s not bad, either.
