With such impressive counting numbers, the two-time MVP has plenty of ways to dominate an opponent. That can make it tricky for bettors to back Giannis in just one statistical category. Still, the Greek Freak is a walking double-double machine, and it’s difficult to think any team is capable of stopping him.
If the Mavericks had Anthony Davis healthy, they might actually fit the bill. Unfortunately, the big man is out of action due to an adductor strain. He’s one of three injured centers on the roster, joining Dereck Lively II (ankle) and Daniel Gafford (knee). Tonight, Dallas will likely start some combination of Dwight Powell, Kessler Edwards and Olivier Maxence-Prosper down low. At 6’11”, Antetokounmpo might be the tallest person on the court tonight. Going up against a team riddled by injuries, it’s hard not to support Milwaukee’s superstar in some fashion. At nearly even money, backing Giannis to reach 13 rebounds could be one of Wednesday’s best NBA prop bets.
