The PGA TOUR heads to Bay Hill Club and Lodge (par 72, 7,466 yards, Bermuda greens) in Orlando, Florida, for the Arnold Palmer Invitational. As one of the PGA TOUR’s eight Signature Events of the season, the Arnold Palmer Invitational is hosting a limited field of 72 golfers and there will be a cut after the first two rounds, with the top 50 and ties and any player within 10 shots of the lead advancing.

Below, I have featured some finishing position bets to consider for the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Shane Lowry for a Top 20 finish including ties (+130)

Lowry is on the heels of a T11 finish at the Cognizant Classic last week. The Irishman finished the event fifth in SG APP and he closed the tournament with a four-under 67. Following this start, Lowry has now finished inside the top 13 in eight of his past 10 starts worldwide and he has shot under par in 76% of his rounds during this span. In his only other start at a Signature Event this season, Lowry finished runner-up to Rory McIlroy at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am last month. Lowry has a knack for playing his best golf in the strongest fields and the current Florida resident loves competing in the sunshine state. Lowry ranks fifth in strokes gained per round when we compare this field’s last 24 rounds in Florida, including a T3 at last year’s Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Evident from this high finish, Lowry is a great match for Bay Hill and he is an outstanding bet for a top 20 finish this weekend at this +130 price on DraftKings Sportsbook. 28.8% of the approach shots at Bay Hill over the last five years have come from at least 200 yards out and Lowry ranks 19th in proximity to the hole on 200+ yard approach shots this season.

Adam Scott for a Top 30 finish (+115)

Scott has finished inside the top 25 in eight of his last 10 starts and he has finished inside the top 30 in six of his 14 starts at Bay Hill. Scott’s irons have been elite so far this season with the veteran ranking 14th in SG APP and seventh in proximity to the hole on approach shots from at least 200 yards out. Plus, Scott is leading the entire PGA TOUR in par five scoring average, which makes him a perfect match for Bay Hill. Capitalizing on the four par fives of this par 72 is essential for success, as three of the past four winners here have finished the week top three in par five efficiency.

Scott is poised for a great showing at Bay Hill this week and he is a sensational bet for a top 30 finish at this +115 price on DraftKings Sportsbook. In his seven starts at Signature Events the last two seasons, Scott has finished inside the top 30 five times.
