The Rockets face the Pacers in Indiana on Tuesday night to finish their back-to-back set of games. They’ll get reinforcements on Tuesday after losing 137-128 to the Thunder in Oklahoma City on Monday. They played that game without Alperen Sengun ($9,100; back) and Amen Thompson ($8,500; shoulder), but neither is on the injury report for Tuesday, so they should be able to return. On the other hand, Fred VanVleet (ankle) will miss a second straight game, leaving room for Thompson to get the start at point guard.
Sengun has averaged 45.0 fantasy points per game in his five games since the All-Star break and had 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 50.5 fantasy points in his last game on Saturday against the Kings and has over 48 fantasy points in three of his last four. He’ll have a good matchup against the Pacers and is a good pay-up play at center for DFS contests.
Thompson is also a strong fantasy option due to his multicategory production. Since the All-Star break, he averaged 38.3 fantasy points in his five games, but since Jan. 1, he averaged 42.0 fantasy points in his 12 games without VanVleet.
Tari Eason ($5,400) and Dillon Brooks ($4,700) are also available after missing Monday’s matchup in OKC.
Both Rockets will be strong values to consider for DraftKings contests, including the NBA $300K Fadeaway [$100K to 1st].
