On the first Monday of March, the main DraftKings fantasy basketball slate is made up of seven games. The first two games tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET in Charlotte and Philadelphia, and the final matchup of the day tips off at 9:00 p.m. ET when the Jazz welcome in the Pistons to Salt Lake City. Taking a look at the many options on the board, three stand out as the top plays for NBA DFS stacks, and you can find those three teams spotlighted below.
Of the 14 teams on the slate, four are finishing a back-to-back set of games and four are playing again tomorrow to finish their back-to-back. The Jazz, Heat, Thunder, and Trail Blazers are playing for a second day in a row, and the Hawks, Warriors, Rockets, and Sixers will play again Tuesday. With so many teams involved in back-to-back games, be sure to keep a close eye on today’s injury report and shift your strategy if necessary.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Atlanta Hawks
The Grizzlies and Hawks have ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in pace for most of the season, and over the last 15 games they are also the top two teams in that metric. That means in their head-to-head matchup on Monday, there should be plenty of possessions for both teams and plenty of points as well. In the last 15 games, the Grizzlies have allowed 121.1 points per game and the Hawks have allowed 121.0 points per game, both ranking in the top five in the NBA. The big injury question for Memphis is Ja Morant ($8,300), who missed Saturday’s game and is questionable for Monday.
Core Plays: If Morant is out, Desmond Bane ($7,600) will have to carry a big workload in his return from a one-game absence as well. He has over 45 fantasy points in each of his last two games, both at home, like this matchup. Jaren Jackson Jr. ($8,000) carried the load on Saturday with 42 points and 59.5 fantasy points. JJJ has huge upside against the Hawks, who have struggled against power forwards since losing Jalen Johnson (shoulder) for the season. Santi Aldama ($6,400) has also been excellent lately with 28+ fantasy points in six of his last seven.
Value Options: If Morant sits, Luke Kennard ($4,500) and Scotty Pippen Jr. ($4,400) will get more work. Pippen had 29 fantasy points in a spot start Saturday while Kennard contributed 32 fantasy points. Jaylen Wells ($4,800) has been boom or bust but should thrive in this up-tempo contest. Like Bane, Vince Williams Jr. ($4,100) will also be ready to return after missing Saturday’s game. He had 21.25 fantasy points against the Knicks on Friday and has over 15 fantasy points in three of his last four games while ramping back up after an extended absence.
Detroit Pistons at Utah Jazz
The Jazz host the Pistons in what should be a great spot for the Pistons. Over the last 15 games, Utah has gone 5-10, allowing 122.3 points per contest, the second-most in the NBA over that span. The Jazz were without multiple key pieces on Sunday, so double-check the matchup to see which Jazz players make sense, but whoever is available, the Pistons should be able to pile up points.
Core Plays: Cade Cunningham ($10,100) has a particularly great matchup against the Jazz since Utah allows the most fantasy points per game to point guards. Jalen Duren ($6,900) could also have a good matchup, although it’s a little less clear since Walker Kessler ($6,800) or John Collins ($6,600) or both could return. Duren had an impressive 50.75 fantasy points on Saturday with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and six blocks in just 30 minutes against the Nets.
Value Options: Tobias Harris (personal) is out for this contest, which should mean more work for several key rotation players. Both Ausar Thompson ($5,300) and Malik Beasley ($5,000) have very high ceilings without Harris while Dennis Schroder ($4,200), Ron Holland II ($3,500) and even Simone Fontecchio ($3,200) could also get enough work to be good bargains.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Houston Rockets
The Thunder have been a regularly recurring option in my stacks because they continue to score an incredible amount of points. Over the last 10 games, they lead the NBA with an average of 127.6 points per game after posting 146 points in their win in San Antonio on Sunday night. They have scored at least 128 points in six straight games, going 5-1 during that stretch. In that win, the Thunder did not have Chet Holmgren (ankle) or Isaiah Joe (back), but it isn’t clear if either will be ready to return on Monday.
Core Plays: Without Chet on Sunday, Jalen Williams ($8,100) had a career-high 41 points and finished with 65 fantasy points in 33 minutes. He did most of the heavy lifting, although Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($10,600) had 31 points for the second straight game and totaled 55.5 fantasy points. Without Chet, Isaiah Hartenstein ($6,700) had his second straight double-double, posting 35.25 after totaling 41 fantasy points in the game in which Holmgren was hurt.
Value Options: Aaron Wiggins ($5,200) continues to be a reliable and solid mid-range producer, and he got a boost from Joe’s absence and Luguentz Dort ($4,900) being ejected on Sunday. Alex Caruso ($4,400) and Cason Wallace ($4,300) are affordable ways to round out the stack, with Wallace as the slightly better offensive play since he has over 21 fantasy points in at least 28 minutes in each of his last four games.
