Kyrie Irving Injury Update: 3/3/2025 vs. the Kings

UPDATE: Irving has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

With around 2 minutes left in the first quarter of Monday’s game against the Sacramento Kings, Kyrie Irving ($9,500) drove down the lane but suffered a non-contact injury in the process. He stayed on his stomach for a bit before getting up to shoot the free throws. Irving was then helped off the court and into the locker room.

Prior to exiting, Irving contributed 7 points, a rebound and an assist in 9 minutes.

Spencer Dinwiddie will likely see an elevated role with Irving likely out for an extended period of time.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
