What happened to Chet Holmgren? Live injury updates for Thunder at Hawks 2/28/25

Oklahoma City Thunder PF/C Chet Holmgren suffered an apparent ankle injury during Friday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks. Per the team, he will not return tonight.

Holmgren appeared to roll his left ankle during the first half of the game. He did stay on the court despite the tweak, recording seven points, four rebounds, and three assists in 15 minutes of action.

However, Thunder PR released a statement at halftime that Holmgren has been ruled out for the remainder of the game. The injury is designated as a left ankle sprain.
