The Suns lost to the Pelicans on Thursday, and they’ll host them again on Friday night in Phoenix. Bradley Beal was added to the injury report on Thursday and later downgraded to out, and he’ll also miss Friday night’s rematch. In addition, Grayson Allen ($4,900; foot) is doubtful. Starting in Beal’s spot on Thursday, Tyus Jones ($3,800) had a monster game, and he’ll be a great value play again on Friday’s eight-game slate in the rematch

PG Tyus Jones, Phoenix Suns vs. New Orleans Pelicans, $3,800
Jones was a regular part of the Suns’ lineup early in the season. However, the returns of Beal and Devin Booker ($8,800) squeezed Jones out of the rotation. Before starting Thursday, he came off the bench for three games and only averaged 2.0 points in 17.5 minutes per game in his previous four games. Without Beal, though, Jones was back in the lineup and ended up logging 39 minutes against New Orleans. He ran the show very effectively, finishing with 15 points, 12 assists and 45.25 fantasy points.
He has that kind of ceiling on Friday, especially if Allen is out as well. Even if he doesn’t get to quite that level, though, he should be able to easily return excellent value against the Pelicans, who allow the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards.
Even though the Suns offense hasn’t been especially pretty lately, Jones starting under $4,000 is too good to pass up and allows you to spend up for stars in other spots this Friday night.
