March is a month known for Madness, and it looks like it’s shaping up that way in the world of sneakers as well.
The month jumps out of the gate quick with the return of the legendary “Flu Game” Air Jordan 12s. One of Michael Jordan’s most memorable performances will be celebrated with the kicks he had on feet as he cooked the Jazz in the 1997 NBA Finals.
Things heat up later in the month with expected releases of the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 “Brick by Brick” (March 14) and the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 Retro SP “Navy” (March 18). Sneaker Twitter is also buzzing with reports of a wider SNKRS release of the Union x Air Jordan 1 “Chicago Shadow” (March 18). None of these releases has been confirmed as of yet, but there’s been enough smoke that it makes sense to think there is fire and I feel comfortable enough to add them to the release calendar. But keep in mind things can — and frequently have — change at a moment’s notice. So make sure to keep checking back here for up-to-date release information.
