Darius Garland ($7,600) missed the last two games due to a hip contusion. He’s off the injury report for Friday’s contest against the Boston Celtics.

Isaac Okoro ($3,500) received the start for Garland in the last two games and he will now return to a reserve role.

Garland returns at a perfect time, as the Cavaliers will travel to Boston to take on the defending champions for the fourth time this season. Boston won two of the prior three games.

Garland played poorly in the first meeting, shooting 3-of-21 from the field for eight points, two rebounds, seven assists, a steal and a block. Boston won at home by three points. In the rematch a few weeks later, Garland bounced back with 22 points, five rebounds and eight assists while shooting 5-of-12 from the field. Cleveland won at home by 4 points. The game in early February, Garland shot 8-of-20 from the field and finished with 25 points, a rebound, 3 assists and 2 steals.

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
