The Atlanta Hawks leapfrogged the Miami Heat in the standings on Monday after a hard-fought win in Atlanta. Tonight, Trae Young and Co. look to build a lead over their division rival in a rematch, this time on the road in Miami at 7:30 p.m. EST.

Young’s prop lines on DraftKings Sportsbook sit at 25.5 points, 11.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.5 three-pointers. His PTS + REB + AST O/U is listed at 40.5.

With the Hawks fighting just to keep themselves in postseason contention, the play of their star lead guard has gone mostly unnoticed this year. While Young’s scoring output and efficiency have ticked down this season, the 26-year-old quietly leads the entire NBA with 11.5 assists per game.

He’s made up for his scoring pitfalls in a big way, and while his average is exactly the line for tonight, over 11.5 assists is worth targeting at +110 odds. He beat this mark in both games against the Heat this season so far with 15 and 14 dimes, and Miami’s top defender Bam Adebayo is questionable tonight. At plus-odds, this prop is definitely an appealing one.

There’s another plus-odds prop to take a look at in this contest. Over 3.5 three-pointers is available at +130 odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. There’s a fairly compelling case to be made for this one.

Make no mistake, Trae is the guy in this offense, especially as Jalen Johnson remains sidelined for the remainder of the season. Young has attempted 8.9 threes per game, and while he’s only knocking them down at a 33.3% clip, his shot volume is even higher in many games. He’s attempted at least 13 three-pointers in two of three appearances since the All-Star break, making at least four in two of those games. While he shot 0/7 from beyond the arc against Miami on Monday, that’s an exception, not the norm. Look for him to take a few more tonight and bang in at least four shots from distance.
