The Spurs head into Houston tonight to take on the Rockets and find themselves as nine-point underdogs on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at O/U 228.5 points. Houston has won 2-of-3 games against San Antonio this season, which included Victor Wembanyama.

De’Aaron Fox Over 1.5 Steals (+135)
De’Aaron Fox has averaged 2.6 steals per game since returning from the All-Star break and draws a sneaky good matchup tonight against Houston’s backcourt. Across the past five games, San Antonio has averaged the third-most steals per game (11.6) while Houston has averaged the 13th-most turnovers per game (15.0). With Fred VanVleet still on the shelf, Amen Thompson and Jalen Green have commanded the backcourt. Both of them have averaged 3+ turnovers per game in February and Fox has accumulated 13 steals in just the past four games. Without Wemby in the mix, Fox has become the defensive catalyst and should be able to take advantage of both Thompson and Green.
Alperen Sengun Over 11.5 Rebounds (-110)
San Antonio has a center problem with Wemby and it’d be foolish to fade Alperen Sengun, who has cleared this line in four of the past five games, against backup centers. In that same span, the Spurs have averaged the fifth-fewest rebounds per game (31.2). They also just allowed both Yves Missi and Jalen Duren to clear the 15-rebound mark in two of their past three games. The 22-year-old Turkish center has been crashing the boards often and likely won’t slow down against 32-year-old Bismack Biyombo. Biyombo did grab 12 rebounds last night against New Orleans but Sengun has had 20+ rebound opportunities 5+ times in the past 10 games.
Amen Thompson Over 25.5 Points + Rebounds (-125)
Both his points and rebounds lines have increased since opening, so we’re pivoting to the combination of the two. Amen Thompson has cleared 26+ Points + Rebounds in three of the past five games and presents mismatches against opposing guards due to his size and length. Thompson is 6’7″ and has been playing at the 1 for Houston since VanVleet went down. He has feasted on the boards as a result, grabbing 9+ rebounds in six straight games. The Spurs’ backcourt is rather small and has allowed the 11th-most rebounds per game to opposing point guards across the last seven games. Now, if Thompson continues the rebounding trend, that would leave us with 17 points. He scored just nine points last night but rarely posts back-to-back duds and should be able to score 17 points––something he has done in three of the past five games and five of the past 10. Plus, most of the focus should be on Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun, leaving Thompson to take advantage.
