Up next on the PGA TOUR schedule is the Cognizant Classic at PGA National (par 71, 7,167, Bermuda greens) in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This is the first event of the Florida swing and this tournament that is formerly known as the Honda Classic has been played at PGA National since 2007. There are 144 golfers competing at the this week and there will be a standard top-65 and ties cut after the first two rounds.

Below, I have featured a make cut parlay to consider for the Cognizant Classic.

Patrick Rodgers + Jhonattan Vegas + Lucas Glover to make the cut (+215)

Rodgers has made the cut in four of his last five starts at PGA National – including three finishes of T33rd or better – and he has advanced to the weekend in 17 of his 20 starts entering this week. Rodgers just finished T25th at the Mexico Open last week, while ranking 12th in SG APP for the event, which marked his third top-25 finish in his last four starts. Rodgers has become a very consistent player that we can confidently expect to make the cut this week.

Vegas is another reliable cut maker that we can trust at PGA National. The Venezuelan has only missed two cuts in his last 16 starts and seven of his finishes during this timeframe have been top-30 results, most notably with a win at the 3M Open last July. Vegas ranks third in SGT2G when we compare this field’s last 50 rounds and at PGA National, he has only missed one cut in 11 starts. Notably, six of these finishes have come inside the top-30, including a T21 two years ago in his last visit to PGA National, in which Vegas closed the tournament with a 7-under 64 on Sunday, which was the lowest score of the final round.

Lastly, Glover is another course horse at PGA National. The former U.S. Open champion currently lives in Florida and has made the cut in six of his last seven starts at PGA National. All six of these finishes have come inside the top-35, including a T4 in 2019. As for his current form, Glover ranks third in SG APP when we analyze this field’s last 50 rounds and has made nine of his last 11 cuts coming into this week, which is a run that includes seven top-30 finishes. Very few players competing this week know PGA National better than Glover and he is a safe bet to make the cut.
