Tuesday delivers a seven-game slate. Just like with NFL DFS, stacking games for NBA DFS is a strategy that can really pay off. Embracing correlation with multiple players from the same game can be the key to climbing the leaderboard in GPPs.
Below, I have featured two of my favorite games to stack for Tuesday’s seven-game slate.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks
On Tuesday, the Lakers and Mavericks will go head-to-head for the first time since the blockbuster Luka Doncic ($10,500) for Anthony Davis trade. Davis (adductor) will miss this contest, but Doncic is healthy and finally starting to find his groove as a Laker, making him the best spend on the slate in this revenge situation.
After being limited to start his tenure with Los Angeles, Doncic is no longer under a minutes limit and he is coming off a vintage performance in Saturday’s impressive 23-point road win over the red-hot Nuggets. In 30 minutes of work, Doncic erupted for 68 FPTS against Denver. The superstar is leading the Lakers with a 34.6% usage rate since joining the club and he should be extremely motivated to put up a huge stat line vs. the Mavericks tonight. Dallas ranks 25th in defensive rating over their last 10 games and Doncic is very underpriced at only $10,500. While Doncic is the better target, the consistent LeBron James ($10,000) is always viable and, on the lower end, Rui Hachimura ($5,800) has merit from the Lakers in this appealing spot against the Mavericks. With Doncic in town, Hachimura has been efficient with 30 FPTS per game.
On the other side of this anticipated matchup, this is a great time buy low on Kyrie Irving ($9,200). The guard should come with low ownership with less than 40 FPTS in back-to-back starts, but he has displayed a huge ceiling recently, with over 50 FPTS in three of his last seven games. Irving leads the Mavericks with a 29% usage rate and 1.2 FPTS per minute with both Doncic and Davis off the floor this season, and Irving is an elite contrarian option Tuesday. P.J. Washington ($7,400; ankle) is questionable, but should suit up and has 40 FPTS upside, while Kessler Edwards ($4,200) is worth a GPP flier. With Dallas shorthanded, Edwards has started five games in a row and he has scored over 20 FPTS in three of those tilts.
New Orleans Pelicans vs. San Antonio Spurs
This Pelicans vs. Spurs matchup carries a huge 240.5-point total on DraftKings Sportsbook and is a great game to stack Tuesday.
Starting with the home team in the Pelicans, Zion Williamson ($8,500) and Trey Murphy ($8,100) are the top options. Williamson is in strong form with over 40 FPTS in nine of his last 12 starts, including four eruptions over 50 FPTS. As for Murphy, with Dejounte Murray (Achilles) done for the season and Brandon Ingram now with the Raptors, Murphy has seen a huge role for New Orleans. In his eight starts this month, Murphy is scoring 42.7 FPTS in a team-high 37.1 minutes per game with a 25.1% usage rate. The Pelicans also present two of the best value plays on the slate in Jose Alvarado ($5,500) and Kelly Olynyk ($4,500). Alvarado has been awesome with 36.8 FPTS per game in his last four, while Olynyk has started since coming over from the Raptors in the Ingram trade and Olynyk came alive in Sunday’s win over the same Spurs team he will face tonight, posting 35.25 FPTS across 25 minutes. Olynyk is amassing 1.0 FPTS per minute this season and he is far too cheap for his current role as a starter.
With Victor Wembanyama (shoulder) sidelined, the Spurs have many intriguing DFS options to consider against this Pelicans defense that ranks 28th in efficiency this season. First off, De’Aaron Fox ($8,700) is a great spend, as he is supplying 1.3 FPTS per minute with a 27.8% usage rate with Wembanyama off the floor. Chris Paul ($6,300) and Keldon Johnson ($5,000) are also standing out as strong mid-tier options. With Wembanyama inactive this season, Paul and Johnson are averaging 31 and 30 FPTS per game, respectively. Lastly, Bismack Biyombo ($4,300) is worth rolling the dice on in GPPs if he continues to start in place of Wembanyama. Against this same Pelicans team Sunday, Biyombo posted a double-double worth 35.5 FPTS in 30 minutes.
