Grizzlies -7.5 (-115)
The Suns are struggling heading into their road matchup with the Grizzlies. Phoenix has dropped eight of its last 10 games, including a disappointing loss to the Raptors. While Bradley Beal’s return to the starting lineup has given the Suns a slight spark, it hasn’t been enough to turn their fortune around.
Memphis, on the other hand, has its own set of challenges. After a tough loss to the Cavaliers, the Grizzlies will look to bounce back, focusing on improving their defensive consistency. With Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane leading the way, Memphis has the tools to cover the -7.5 spread.
Cavaliers -7.5 (-112)
The Cavaliers enter Tuesday’s game against the Magic with the NBA’s best record and a seven-game win streak. The Magic, however, have momentum, winning five of their last eight after a rough patch in January and February.
Cleveland is led by Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland, and the team’s offensive efficiency has been stellar, averaging 122.9 points per game. Orlando has been much improved with the return of Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, but it will need to find ways to stop Cleveland’s high-powered offense. With the Cavs’ strong recent performances and overall talent, they should be able to cover the -7.5 spread in Orlando.
Rockets -3.5 (-112)
The Rockets are looking to get back on track after disappointing losses, including a 121-115 defeat against the Jazz. The absence of Fred VanVleet has hurt the Rockets, but they are finding ways to stay competitive behind Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun and Amen Thompson.
The Bucks come into this game with strong recent performances, but Houston’s defense will likely make this a tight contest. The Rockets will need to build off their recent success, particularly with the addition of more ball movement and securing rebounds. With Milwaukee’s star power, it will be necessary for the Rockets to maintain their defensive execution to stay within striking distance. However, with VanVleet potentially returning, Houston can capitalize on its home-court advantage to cover the -3.5 spread.
Lakers -9 (-112)
The Lakers and Mavericks face off on Tuesday in a highly anticipated matchup that follows their NBA trade deadline blockbuster. While Luka Doncic is now the Lakers’ top talent of the future, Anthony Davis remains sidelined with a left adductor strain. Doncic had a stellar performance in his latest game for the Lakers, scoring 32 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in a convincing win over the Nuggets.
LeBron James has continued to play at a high level, averaging 28.7 points, 8.9 rebounds and 7.4 assists in the past seven games since the trade. It’ll be challenging to overcome with Dallas playing without Davis, Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively II. Los Angeles is favored to cover the -9 spread at home, especially with Doncic continuing to find his regular form.
Zion Williamson Over 24.5 Points (-120)
Zion Williamson has been dominant when healthy this season, averaging 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. Williamson has stepped up in his last six games, averaging 28.2 points per game. Against the Spurs, who have struggled defensively, Zion is well-positioned to surpass the 24.5-point mark.
Given the Spurs’ issues, particularly with Victor Wembanyama out, Williamson should be able to capitalize on his inside presence and scoring ability. Expect him to set the tone for the Pelicans and hit the over on this points line.
