With a 26-29 record, the Miami Heat are fighting to stay in the postseason race following their ugly split with Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline. While their old star has since moved on, a new one has emerged this season, with Tyler Herro stepping up into All-Star form.
Tonight, Herro and the Heat head to Atlanta for a matchup with the Hawks at 7:30 p.m. EST. Here’s a couple of prop bet options on DraftKings Sportsbook for the talented guard.
Best Tyler Herro prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
DraftKings Sportsbook lists Herro’s lines for tonight’s action at 26.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 3.5 three-pointers. His PTS + REB + AST O/U sits at 38.5.
The matchup is an excellent one for the Heat offense. Atlanta ranks 16th in defensive rating, 26th in fast-break points allowed, 28th in opponent points in the paint, and second in pace. They also fall 26th in opponent three-pointers made and 27th in opponent field goals made per game.
On one hand, Herro could easily go over his 26.5 points line. He dropped 28 points in his first game back from the All-Star break, and followed it up with a 40-point performance in last night’s loss to the Bucks. He also dropped 40 points in his last game before All-Star Weekend, so he’s gone over 26.5 points in three of his last five games. However, Herro played 40 minutes in his last two contests and is on night two of a back-to-back, plus, he’s nursing a shoulder injury (though he’s listed probable). With all that said, the under might be the safer pick at -125 odds.
For those who believe Herro has an off-night, the under on his PTS + REB + AST is also worth a look. He’s listed at -115 odds on either side of the 38.5 mark, but the under has hit 32 of 53 times this season. Despite the prime matchup, fatigue may get the better of the 25-year-old coming off the back-to-back.
