Sunday night presents a seven-game slate starting at 6:00 p.m. ET. Below, I dive into three of my favorite DFS options to consider for tonight’s NBA action.

PG/SG, De’Aaron Fox, San Antonio Spurs at New Orleans Pelicans, $8,800
Fox is an outstanding spend with Victor Wembanyama (shoulder) out. The big man is done for the season and with Wembanyama sidelined for the last two, Fox has been terrific as the Spurs’ main option, scoring 56.25 FPTS vs. the Suns and 48.75 FPTS vs. the Pistons. In the 151 minutes the guard has played with Wembanyama off the floor since joining San Antonio a few weeks ago, Fox is leading the Spurs with a 27.6% usage rate and 1.4 FPTS per minute.
Fox’s matchup is also stellar, going against a Pelicans defense that ranks third-to-last in defensive efficiency this season. This game’s total is up to a huge 242.5 points on DraftKings Sportsbook and Fox has a ceiling near 60 FPTS in this spot.
PG/SG, Cole Anthony, Orlando Magic vs. Washington Wizards, $5,100
The Magic have tightened up their rotation following the All-Star break and Anthony has been one of the main beneficiaries with Jalen Suggs (quad) still out. In Orlando’s first two games after the break, Anthony has recorded 35.25 FPTS vs. the Hawks and 44.25 FPTS vs. the Grizzlies. As the Magic’s starting point guard, Anthony has seen a 20% usage rate and he has logged at least 32 minutes in each of these past two games. Furthermore, Anthony has ranked second on the team in plus/minus during this stretch.
Given Anthony’s recent success with a larger role, the guard should continue to receive over 30 minutes on Sunday and this is a gorgeous matchup vs. the Wizards, who rank fourth in pace and second-to-last in defensive efficiency. Anthony should flourish with at least 30 FPTS in this spot and is a core play at this affordable $5,100 salary.
C, Jarrett Allen, Cleveland Cavaliers, $6,400
Allen (finger) is questionable, but the center attended shoot-around this morning, which is a strong indicator that Allen will play tonight. Darius Garland ($7,600, hip), on the other hand, is questionable and missed shoot-around. With the guard likely out, Allen will see a solid boost to his fantasy stock. The big man is amassing 35.1 FPTS per game in the two contests Garland has missed this season and with the guard off the court, Allen’s usage rises 1.4 percentage points and he scores 1.24 FPTS per minute.
In addition to the slightly expanded role with Garland likely out, Allen is in a superb spot against the Grizzlies, who lead the NBA in pace this season. This game’s total is the highest on the slate at 248 points on DraftKings Sportsbook, which is the largest total the Cavaliers have competed in this season. Allen has 40 FPT upside in this setting and is one of the best ways to attack this slate-high total at his reasonable $6,400 salary.
