Rob Font Moneyline (+130)
Font is facing Jean Matsumoto, who is undefeated in his MMA career. But Font has the height advantage (5’8″ vs. 5’6″) and reach (71.5″ vs. 68.5″) in this contest. Getting Font at +130 to win this bout is surprising because of the wide gap in experience and physical tools.
Font’s physical advantages, including being the more efficient striker on the feet, put him in a good position to win his second straight fight for the first time since 2021. Font is an 11-year UFC veteran who has fought three former champions. Yes, Matsumoto is an intriguing young prospect, but the jump up in competition is far too big at this point in his career.
Anthony Hernandez to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (+180)
No. 12 Anthony Hernandez has the biggest fight of his career against a familiar opponent, No. 9 Brendan Allen. These two first fought in 2018 in LFA. Hernandez won that contest by unanimous decision. Since then, Allen is 16-3 while Hernandez is 7-2. Hernandez is on a seven-fight win streak and has finished his previous four opponents.
Hernandez knocked out Michel Pereira in the fifth round. He has 11 finishes while having 13 professional MMA victories. Hernandez averages nearly five more takedowns per 15 minutes than Allen does. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Hernandez is a big -340 favorite, but with his excellent finishing ability, it is wise to back him in that area at +180.
