The Knicks are 8.5-point underdogs against the Cavaliers, with an o/u of 242 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are the latest prop bet lines for Karl-Anthony Towns: o/u 27.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 three-pointers.

Tonight’s matchup between the Knicks and Cavaliers should be one of the best games of the NBA regular season. Despite being the second night of a back-to-back, the players have spent the last few days on break because of All-Star Weekend so there should be fresh legs on both sides. Karl-Anthony Towns was one of the players to participate in the All-Star Game but he only played a combined 18 minutes. That is good news for this exciting matchup between two of the best teams in the NBA. The Cavaliers are currently atop the Eastern Conference with the Knicks in third place. Both teams are among the top four in the odds to win the NBA Finals at DraftKings Sportsbook.

These teams have only faced each other once this season and it happened back in October in just the third game of the Knicks’ season. The Cavaliers won that game 110-104 in what was a surprisingly low-scoring game based on what we know now. These have been two of the best offensive teams in the NBA this season. The Cavaliers rank 1st in the NBA in offensive rating and the Knicks rank 3rd. Part of the reason the Knicks have been such a force offensively is due to the offseason addition of Towns. Jalen Brunson emerged as one of the top scorers in the NBA last season, but after Julius Randle went down for the season, there was a massive amount of pressure on Brunson to provide all of the offense for the Knicks. This season, Towns has taken a huge share of the load when it comes to the Knicks’ scoring offense making him and Brunson more of a dynamic duo than it being solely “Brunson’s team.”

Against the Cavaliers, Towns is in for a tough matchup against one of the league’s best defenders, Evan Mobley. After the injury to Victor Wembanyama, Mobley is now neck-and-neck with Jaren Jackson Jr. to win the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award. Towns has really improved as a rebounder and defender this season with the Knicks but Mobley will be a big test for him. If Mobley shuts down Towns offensively, that would leave Bruson to be the Knicks’ primary scorer. If that is the case, Towns will need to step up more defensively and on the board to contribute. Towns ranks 2nd in the NBA in rebounds per game and should have success rebounding in this game. The Cavaliers are elite in almost every category except rebounding. They rank 19th in the NBA in defensive rebounding percentage, whereas the Knicks rank 6th in the NBA in rebounding percentage. Towns just had 18 boards last night against the Bulls and he should have another huge rebounding game against the Cavaliers, going over his prop of 13.5 rebounds.

Best Bet: Karl-Anthony Towns o13.5 Rebounds (-115)
