The Houston Rockets are back in action for the first time since February 13, and now, their own star center has an All-Star appearance to his name.

Here’s the top prop bet options on DraftKings Sportsbook for Alperen Sengun as the Rockets take on the Timberwolves at 9:30 p.m. EST on Friday night.

Best Alperen Sengun prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

For tonight’s clash between Houston and Minnesota, Sengun’s prop lines on DraftKings Sportsbook are set at 18.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. His PTS + REB + AST O/U sits at 33.5.

Sengun earned his first All-Star nod this season, a deserving accolade given his role as one of the Rockets’ most consistent players on their way to fourth place in the Western Conference standings at 34-21. His shooting splits haven’t been spectacular, but the Turkish big man has done nearly everything else well on the court and played a key part of his team’s surge to playoff contender status.

It’s worth mentioning that the break from regular games over the All-Star period was probably a much-needed one. Ideally, Sengun is well-rested and has his legs under him again, and he did tell local Houston media his goal coming out of the break is to make more shots over the season’s second half. While the Timberwolves’ defense is eighth in paint points allowed per game, Sengun has gone over 18.5 points in three of his last five games against the Timberwolves, and he came close to that mark with 16 in the last matchup. It may be close, but look for him to be aggressive tonight and target over 18.5 points at -115 odds.

UPDATE: Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert has now been ruled out tonight, and Sengun’s rebounds line has shifted to 9.5. The over on this is likely a good play at -135 odds, and ought to be the pick now compared to the one listed below.

The other prop to target is under 10.5 rebounds. Sengun is a great rebounder, but Rudy Gobert has a size advantage which cannot be overstated. In their last five matchups, Sengun has gone under the 10.5 mark four times, so it’s a pretty safe bet at -140 odds. However, the over is available at plus-money with +110 odds, so it could be a compelling pick against the grain.
