The Knicks face the Bulls at Madison Square Garden in the team’s first game out of All-Star Weekend. Here are the best player props to consider for Karl-Anthony Towns on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Knicks are 12.5-point favorites against the Bulls, with a total of 243.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are the latest prop bet lines for Karl-Anthony Towns: o/u 27.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 three-pointers.

The All-Star break is now in the rearview mirror and the push to the postseason is officially on. Karl-Anthony Towns participated in the All-Star Game and played well in limited action. Towns, along with his Knicks teammates, will now turn their eyes to the final stretch of the regular season. The Knicks are currently in third place in the Eastern Conference, 2.5 games behind the Celtics and 5.5 games ahead of the Pacers with 28 games left to play. New York would need to be superb in the regular season’s final weeks to pass the Celtics, but they likely just need to play solid to remain the three-spot.

Karl-Anthony Towns has been phenomenal for the Knicks this season. With Mitchell Robinson injured, and after the departures of Julius Randle and Isaiah Hartenstein, the Knicks’ lack of frontcourt depth was a major concern entering the season. For his size, Towns has always been criticized for his defense and rebounding. However, that changed when Towns came to the Knicks. Under Tom Thibodeau, a coach who has built his career on having tough defensive teams, and playing alongside the likes of Josh Hart, OG Anunony and Mikal Bridges, who have built their NBA careers on hustle, effort and defensive intensity, Towns has had no choice but to conform to the culture. As a result, Towns is second in the NBA in rebounds per game while still being a top 15 scorer in the league. The anticipated return of Mitchell Robinson will allow Towns to rest more down the stretch and, even when they are on the court together, Towns will get a bit of a reprieve from his rebounding and defensive duties. That should have Towns very fresh for the Knicks’ postseason run.

For this matchup against the Bulls, I am actually targeting the under on Towns’ rebounding prop. It is currently set at 13.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook which is very high, even for Towns. Towns is averaging 13.4 rebounds per game on the season, but his numbers were trending down heading into All-Star Weekend. Towns had fewer than 13 rebounds in seven of his last eight games before the All-Star break. Bulls center Nikola Vucevic is tough on the boards and is among the best rebounders in the NBA. Outside of Vucevic, the Bulls are not a great rebounding team, ranking 23rd in the NBA in rebound percentage. Towns should just take Vucevic out of the play and allow the other Knicks to crash the boards and pick up the actual rebounds. Towns has been a fantastic rebounder this season but that his pushed his prop number up a bit too high.

Best Bet: Karl-Anthony Towns u13.5 Rebounds (-115)
