The 4 Nations Face-Off Final takes place tonight at TD Garden in Boston, MA at 8:00 p.m. ET. Canada and the United States will face each other again following the round-robin matchup on Saturday that featured three fights and a 3-1 victory for the Americans. The United States has been a powerhouse throughout the tournament, out-scoring its opponents, 9-2, in two games. It had already clinched a spot in the championship game and opted to rest four key starters in Monday’s 2-1 loss to Sweden––Auston Matthews, Charlie McAvoy, Matthew Tkachuk and Connor Hellebuyck. Both Matthews and Tkachuk are expected to be available while McAvoy has been ruled out. Brady Tkachuk, who left Monday’s game early and missed Wednesday’s practice, will still likely suit up.

The game is on American soil but Canada has the revenge factor, so this near 50/50 split on the Moneyline was expected. McAvoy’s absence will hurt but it’s hard to ignore the United States’ offensive prowess versus Canada’s questionable goaltending. The USA-Canada hockey rivalry is so back and it’s been fueled by the Tkachuk brothers, who both stand out as intriguing options for anytime goals. Both Brady Tkachuk (+310) and Matthew Tkachuk (+320) have each totaled two goals and 11 shots on goal––the most among skaters this tournament. Jordan Binnington has made some huge saves for Canada but is susceptible to allowing weak goals and that was evident in the first matchup. Connor McDavid (+195) is also inevitable and could easily activate his takeover meter in a championship game.
