Although Thursday’s College Basketball slate isn’t stacked, a top-25 team is still playing. The No. 20 Maryland Terrapins face the USC Trojans at 8:30 p.m. ET. Maryland has won seven of its previous eight games and is one of the hottest teams in the country. USC is coming off a stretch where it has lost three of its last four games.
Here are my two favorite player prop bets for tonight’s CBB slate on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Derik Queen 10+ Rebounds (+105)
Throughout this season, Derik Queen has been one of the best freshmen in the country. Although he is in his first season in college basketball, his play on the court says otherwise. He is averaging 16 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.1 steals and one block per contest.
He has 11 games with double-digit rebounds this season but has turned a corner in this area lately. Queen has recorded 10+ rebounds in three straight games and five of the last six. You can get Queen to total 10+ boards at +105 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Rodney Rice 16+ Points (+100)
Even though he is the Terrapins’ fourth-leading scorer, Rodney Rice averages 13.4 points per game this season. Rice has scored 16 or more points in five of his last six contests. Getting Rice to score more than 16 points at +100 is a great value play, considering his elite play lately.
Rice has attempted at least 13 field goals in five of his previous six games. He has been a priority for Maryland’s offense in the past month. As Rice’s role continues to increase, It is wise to back him to score 16+ points against USC tonight. USC has allowed 80+ points to an opposing team three times in their last five road games.
