The Nuggets entered the All-Star break on an eight-game win streak, surging up the Western Conference standings. They sit just a half game behind the No. 2 seed Grizzlies heading into Thursday’s action.

Denver will face off against the Hornets, who are on the second night of a back-to-back. Charlotte is one of the weaker teams in the NBA, though it did defeat the Lakers last night on the road.

Mark Williams and Jusuf Nurkic will each spend time guarding Nikola Jokic tonight, so it should be a favorable game for the three-time MVP.

The Nuggets are 16.5-point favorites at home and the game total is set at 229.5 on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Below, I have featured my favorite Jokic prop bets to consider from this contest.

Nikola Jokic over 1.5 three-pointers (-125)

Jokic is one of a few players that can post a triple-double on any given night. His stats are almost unbelievable, and they’re factoring into wins. Because of this, his points, rebounds and assists lines can be a bit steep.

Even betting a triple-double isn’t favorable odds considering how difficult it can be.

Instead, look into Jokic’s three-pointers made. The three-time MVP is shooting a career-high 45 percent from distance while attempting a career-high 4.5 per game. It’s been a sneaky prop bet all season with many focused on his points, rebounds and assists.

Jokic has made at least 1.5 three-pointers in 31 of 49 games. That’s more than half of the games, which is why bettors will have to play the prop at -125. Jokic cleared this line in the teams’ first meeting on Feb. 1.

While the Hornets hold opponents to 33.9 percent from deep, the second best mark in the NBA, this percentage increases to 35.6 percent and 11th ranked when considering just centers. Charlotte is more capable of defending three-pointers from guards and forwards than centers.

Jokic is averaging two three-pointers per game, so hitting this line would be an average night for him. Against Williams and Nurkic, he should have an easy time taking his game to the perimeter.
