Anthony Edwards ($9,300) was dealing with a hip injury prior to the All-Star break, causing him to miss two games. He was unable to play in the All-Star game due to a separate groin injury. He is officially questionable for Friday’s contest against the Houston Rockets due to the hip issue.
Rudy Gobert ($6,600) missed his first game of the season due to a lower back issue right before the All-Star break. He is also questionable for Friday.
Mike Conley ($4,700) missed four games before the All-Star break due to a finger injury. He is questionable as well.

If Edwards and Conley are out, Rob Dillingham ($4,300) would likely get the start. In the two games, Edwards missed, Dillingham put up 22.25 and 18 FPTS in 18 and 24 minutes, respectively. If Conley is active, he would likely get the start with Dillingham in a reserve role. Conley is averaging 0.87 FPTS per minute.
If Edwards plays, then Dillingham would likely be in a reserve role with Jaylen Clark ($3,700) playing alongside Edwards in the backcourt. That’s how it played out in the final game before the All-Star break.
With Julius Randle shelved, Naz Reid ($7,400) has flourished, putting up at least 40 FPTS in six of the last seven games with two over 50 and a high of 60 FPTS. If Gobert is unable to play, then Reid will slide up to center. If Gobert is active, Reid would play next to him at power forward.
