Victor Wembanyama Injury Update: February 20 vs. the Suns

Victor Wembanyama ($10,900) is doubtful for Thursday’s game against the Phoenix Suns due to an illness.

Wembanyama has missed six games this season, with the most recent on February 1st. In that one, Charles Bassey received the start, but he’s been ruled out for Thursday. Zach Collins started four of the other five games, but he was traded to Chicago. Jeremy Sochan ($4,500) got the start in the remaining one and he played 32 minutes. Sandro Maumukelashvili ($3,000) should see a few extra minutes while Bismack Biyombo ($3,000) could get dusted off.

If Wembanyama is out, that will degrade the Spurs defense and make life a little easier for Nick Richards ($5,300).

Stan joined DraftKings in December of 2020. It was a glorious time, except for that whole COVID thing, when we got Madden streams and boisterous bat flips from the KBO. I was brought on board to bring some West Coast flavor. I especially love hoops, and most of my content is in that arena. When I walk along the beach, strumming my guitar, the beat that I hear is not one of crashing waves. No, it is the beat of the ball bouncing off the hardwood with highs provided by the squeaks of the sneakers. Ball is life.
