The NBA All-Star break is complete, and each team will buckle up for the home stretch of the regular season. Only one game will be taking place tonight, as Miles Bridges and the Hornets travel to Los Angeles to face the Lakers.

Miles Bridges Over 20.5 Points (-115)
It has been a turbulent start to Miles Bridges’ career, but there is still plenty of basketball potential for the 26-year-old. Bridges is averaging 19.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game this season. He has recorded over 20.5 points in 20 of the 38 games he has played. Bridges has looked especially impressive of late, averaging 21.6 points per game across his past 20 games and recording over 20.5 points in 16 of these games.
The Los Angeles Lakers’ outlook changed greatly following the blockbuster trade, with the loss of Anthony Davis set to take a toll on the defensive end. The three-time block champion set the tone for the Lakers’ defense, and his defensive impact will be sorely missed by LA. Los Angeles has a clear lack of depth at the big-man position, which they attempted to address in the initial trade for Mark Williams. Jaxson Hayes has shown some intriguing flashes and Alex Len is a notable addition, but expect Bridges to have success attacking the basket.
In the first matchup against the Lakers this season, Bridges scored 26 points on 10-for-23 shooting from the field. His efficiency has dipped this season, but he is at his best when attacking downhill and will have the opportunity in this matchup. Defense will continue to be a point of concern for the Lakers, and Bridges possesses the skillset to capitalize on this. Expect him to be in attack mode and record over 20.5 points for the second time against the Lakers and the 21st time this season.
Miles Bridges to Record 10+ Rebounds (+290)
In addition to the interior presence that Anthony Davis provides, he leaves a massive void in the rebounding department for this Lakers team. Davis is averaging 12.0 rebounds per game this season, which ranks sixth in the NBA and led the Lakers by a comfortable margin.
Initially, I looked at the odds for Miles Bridges to record a double-double, which holds +275 odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. Bridges has been held under 10 points just three times this season, with rebounding being the bigger risk here. Instead, for a similar risk, I like the +290 odds of Bridges reaching double-digit rebounds.
Bridges has recorded seven double-doubles this season and recorded as many as 14 rebounds in a game. He tallied eight rebounds in the first matchup against the Lakers while Davis stole away a ridiculous 23 rebounds in this game. Even with Davis there for the majority of the season, the Lakers rank 26th in the NBA in rebounding as a team. Expect Bridges to help lead the charge in taking advantage of this and attack the glass tonight.
Getting +290 odds is great value, and it also may be worth taking a swing on a ladder approach to this prop bet category. Bridges’ standard over/under is set at 7.5 with the odds for him to record nine rebounds at +170 odds. Expect a focused effort in rebounding the basketball and for Bridges to be effective on the glass tonight.
