For the first NBA game following the All-Star break, the Lakers are hosting the Hornets on Wednesday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Los Angeles is favored by 12 points and this game carries a total of 228.5 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite LeBron James prop bet to consider from this contest.

LeBron James U 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120)

James (foot) is questionable tonight, but he has played through a questionable tag in nearly every game this season. If he suits up, James will be a great bet for this under. The 40-year-old has fallen short of 39.5 PRA in each of the first two games Luka Doncic has played with the Lakers, despite the guard being limited to only 23 minutes in both of these contests. Now, Doncic will no longer be under a minutes restriction following the All-Star break, meaning he and James are going to share the floor for most of the game and James’ numbers are going to drop even further.

Doncic is one of the most ball dominant players to ever play in the NBA. He has led the Lakers with a 32.2% usage rate in his first two starts in the purple and gold. As a result, James’ rates have suffered. In the two games with Doncic as a Laker, James’ usage, assist, and rebound rates have been 2.1, 4.2 and 8.1 percentage points lower than his season averages, respectively. With Doncic on the court, James is averaging 23.4 points, 8.8 assists, and 3.9 rebounds per 36 minutes.

James’ matchup with the Hornets also isn’t great by any means, with Charlotte ranking ninth in defensive rating in 2025. James should stay under 39.5 PRA in this spot, possibly by a solid margin.
