The NBA has implemented a new format for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, which will be held at the Chase Center in San Francisco. There will be four teams of eight players competing, with three of the teams consisting of the players who were named All-Stars and the fourth being the winning squad from the 2025 Castrol Rising Stars Game, which includes rookies, sophomores and players from the G-League. That team is named Candace’s Rising Stars and will face Shaq’s OGs in the semifinals, while Kenny’s Young Stars will face Chuck’s Global Stars in the other semifinal game. The winners of these two semifinal matchups will then go head-to-head in the championship game to crown a winning team. Each game is decided by who can reach or surpass 40 points first.

Team Chuck -3.5 (-118)
Facing Kenny’s Young Stars on Sunday, Chuck’s Global Stars have a clear edge. This squad features the top two candidates for MVP this season in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic. Overall, Chuck’s Global Stars include four players who were selected as All-Star starters and only one All-Star debutant, while Kenny’s Young Stars live up to their name with only one All-Star starter and four first-time All-Stars.
On top of Jokic, Chuck’s Global Stars feature Victor Wembanyama and Karl-Anthony Towns, giving the team three extremely versatile seven-footers. On the other side, Kenny’s Young Stars are very undersized, with Evan Mobley and Jaren Jackson Jr. being their only natural big men, both of which are under seven feet. Team Chuck has a huge advantage in talent, size and experience and it should have no issues covering this 3.5-point spread.
Stephen Curry 3+ Three-Pointers in the Semifinals (+160)
Curry always comes out gunning at All-Star games and he should be very aggressive with this All-Star Game being played at his home arena in the Chase Center, which is the first time since 2000 that the Warriors have hosted an All-Star Game. Curry is averaging 21.8 PPG for the nine All-Star games he has competed in and per usual, most of his scoring in these contests came via three-pointers. In those nine All-Star starts, Curry is averaging 5.7 made three-pointers per game while shooting 39.5% from beyond the arc. The sharpshooter has knocked down three or more three-pointers in eight of the nine All-Star games he has suited up for and that lone exception came in his All-Star debut back in 2014.
