LeBron James injury update: Lakers star to miss All-Star Game

UPDATE: There will be no injury replacement for James.

LeBron James will miss the 2025 All-Star Game due to ankle and foot discomfort. He missed a contest three games ago but had played the two games prior to the All-Star break.

Ironically, Shaquille O’Neal’s team also has Anthony Davis on it, and he will not be playing as well.

The rest of the team consists of Stephen Curry, Jayson Tatum, Kevin Durant, Damian Lillard, James Harden, Jaylen Brown and Kyrie Irving. There’s obviously still a lot of star power, but the team is very guard-heavy. James’ size will be missed.

Shaq’s team will face Team Candace first, a team consisting of Stephon Castle, Ryan Dunn, Zach Edey, Keyonte George, Trayce Jackson-Davis, Dalton Knecht, Jaylen Wells and Amen Thompson.

DK Sportsbook still has Team Shaq favored by 6.5 points with the total at 73.5.
