The NBA All-Star Weekend festivities in San Francisco continue this evening with the Skills Challenge at 8 p.m. EST. Four teams of two players compete for bragging rights in the kickoff to tonight’s action, which serves as an appetizer before the Three-Point and Dunk Contests shortly thereafter.

The four teams set to compete in the Skills Challenge are as follows:
- Team Spurs, represented by Chris Paul and Victor Wembanyama
- Team Cavs, represented by Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley
- Team Warriors, represented by Draymond Green and Moses Moody
- Team Rooks, represented by Alex Sarr and Zaccharie Risacher
DraftKings Sportsbook has Team Spurs favored to win at +190 odds, followed by Team Cavs at +230, Team Warriors at +275, and Team Rooks at +400.
It’s easy to see why the Spurs’ squad are the current leaders to emerge victorious at +190 odds. Chris Paul is a legendary point guard and is certainly one of the most skilled players to touch an NBA court. He can make any pass on the hardwood, which should come in handy for this contest. Victor Wembanyama’s 7-foot-3 frame may look a bit awkward in this showcase, but he’s a true unicorn with guard skills, which is particularly impressive for a player of his stature.
Team Cavs shouldn’t be underrated, though. Donovan Mitchell is a highly-skilled guard and is cut out for this kind of competition. His teammate, Evan Mobley, was actually in the group of Cavaliers who won the Skills Challenge in 2022. With that experience, Mobley knows what to expect and could be at an advantage in this one tonight. With the second-highest odds to win it at +230, Team Cavs should be a very attractive option for bettors in this market.
Team Warriors, meanwhile, are a bit of a mixed bag. Draymond Green is, of course, one of the top passing big men across the NBA and has maintained a place as a key connector in Golden State’s offense for years. His prowess on that end shouldn’t be understated, but Moses Moody will be the X-factor here. The 22-year-old wing is a solid rotation player in the real game, but his performance in this competition is TBD. At +275, though, they could provide some upside.
Finally, there’s Team Rooks. Forward Zaccharie Risacher was the first-overall pick in the draft back in June, while big man Alex Sarr went third in the order. Both are young and unproven in the league, but the pair of international talents are listed at +400 to win the Skills Challenge. Could they do it? It’s unlikely, but possible nonetheless.
