The NBA All-Star Game is slated for Sunday night, and with a new format for the exhibition, the league’s top talents are certain to make some waves.

Three teams of All-Stars and one team of Rising Stars will face off in a four-team tournament starting at 8:20 p.m. EST. At the end of the night, one player will bring home the All-Star Game MVP and add some extra hardware to their trophy case.

DraftKings has betting options for the game outcomes as well as All-Star Game MVP odds. Who’s the leading candidate to add the award to their resume?

As things currently stand, Warriors point guard Steph Curry is the favorite to bring home All-Star Game MVP on Sunday night. Listed at +500, the superstar is looking to win the award for the second time in his career after securing it back in 2022.

Curry’s style of play adapts well to the offense-heavy game plans frequently seen in the capstone event of All-Star Weekend. As the greatest shooter of all time, he has a tendency to launch deep threes and bomb in shots from long-distance.

Across his nine appearances in the All-Star Game, Curry averages 21.8 points, 6.0 assists, and 5.6 rebounds. In his 2022 ASG MVP-winning performance, the Baby-Faced Assassin tallied a monster stat line with 50 points and 16 made three-pointers. Regardless of the sometimes-questionable defensive effort by the stars on the court, that’s still an insane game. He’ll look to recapture that magic on Sunday night in front of the Warriors’ hometown crowd at the Bay Area’s Chase Center.

Curry will suit up for Shaq’s OGs in the second game of the evening around 9:10 p.m. EST. The team comprises the NBA’s elder statesmen in Curry, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and other stars as they face off with some of the league’s younger talent — Candace Parker’s Rising Stars squad earned a spot after downing their opponents in Friday’s contest, and now, they’ll take on the icons of the game they grew up watching.

If Curry can channel the energy from his 2022 performance and his recent hot streak over his last few regular-season games, he’s a nice bet to win the All-Star Game MVP as the favorite at +500 odds on DraftKings Sportsbook.
