The Kings are a few games into the post-De’Aaron Fox era and will play the Pelicans for the third time in four games.
Sacramento won 123-118 on Saturday and 119-111 yesterday. This will be the fourth and final meeting these teams have during the regular season. The Kings have won all three up to this point.
The Kings are 8.5-point favorites at home and the game total is set at 234 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Below, I have featured my favorite Domantas Sabonis prop bets to consider from this contest.
Best Domantas Sabonis Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Domantas Sabonis under 0.5 three-pointers (-105)
Sabonis has never been much of an outside threat. He’s a post-up four who mostly gets his buckets in the paint or mid-range. Three-pointers come sparsely for him, but he is shooting rather efficiently from distance this season.
The three-time All-Star is averaging 1.1 made three-pointers per game on 45.5 percent shooting. It’s not high volume, but it expands Sabonis’ game.
That said, Sabonis hasn’t been making three-pointers as consistently lately. Since the Kings traded De’Aaron Fox, Sabonis is shooting just 27.3 percent from behind the arc, making just 0.5 threes per game.
This is over a six-game stretch that includes two games against the Pelicans. Sabonis made 1-of-3 three-pointers on Saturday against the Pelicans but was 0-for-1 last night. He’s made at least one three-pointer in three of the six games and attempted three three-pointers in three of the six games.
The last two outings, Sabonis has attempted and missed a total of one three-pointer. His game is moving back inside the arc without Fox on the floor.
Zion Williamson will be out tonight for New Orleans, which means Sabonis can take advantage of a weaker frontcourt. His opportunities in the paint should increase, so tail his under three-pointers made tonight.
