Spurs -11 (-108)
San Antonio heads to Washington following two narrow defeats by just one point. The Spurs will aim to bounce back against a Wizards team struggling to string wins together. Washington has dropped two straight after a season-best three-game winning streak. The addition of De’Aaron Fox should boost San Antonio, but it’ll need to improve in crunch-time execution. The Spurs defeated Washington 139-130 in their first meeting, and despite their recent struggles, they should cover the spread against a Wizards squad that’s having a tough time finding consistency.
Hawks +5.5 (-110)
The Magic will look to build on a recent win over the Spurs as they host the Hawks. Orlando has struggled on the road but is solid at home, and its stars, Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero, have been carrying the load. Atlanta enters after a 125-111 victory over Washington, winning three of its last four. The Hawks have been improving, especially on offense, and their depth, led by Trae Young, makes them a dangerous opponent. Orlando must control the tempo to maintain its advantage, but Atlanta should cover the spread.
Warriors -7 (-108)
Golden State is fresh off a dominant win over Chicago and welcomes Milwaukee to the Bay Area. The Bucks played a back-to-back but were without Giannis Antetokounmpo on Sunday, and he’ll remain sidelined today. With Jimmy Butler in the lineup, the Warriors are starting to gel, and Butler’s experience should make an immediate impact. With Stephen Curry leading the charge, Golden State has a clear edge in this matchup. The Bucks will struggle without their star, making the Warriors a solid pick to cover the spread.
Kings +1 (-110)
Sacramento enters Dallas without Anthony Davis, who is sidelined with an adductor strain after a strong debut with the Mavericks. The Kings are adjusting to life after De’Aaron Fox’s departure, but DeMar DeRozan and Domantas Sabonis have stepped up to lead the team. Though still adjusting to Davis and Kyrie Irving, the Mavericks will lean heavily on their stars. With Davis unavailable, the Kings should have an easier time covering the spread in what could be a high-scoring affair.
Luka Doncic Over 43.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Luka Doncic is set to make his long-awaited debut for the Lakers after being acquired in a trade with the Mavericks, shocking the NBA. The Lakers, riding a five-game win streak, have been rejuvenated, winning 11 of their last 13 games. Doncic, sidelined since Christmas Day with a calf injury, will now pair with LeBron James in what promises to be a dynamic duo. Doncic has averaged 28.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.8 assists, putting him in a position to hit the over against the Jazz.
