NBA Best Bets: Hawks at Magic Best Prop Bets for February 10

The NBA has a huge Monday night slate with some fun matchups on tap, including the Hawks heading to Orlando to take on the Magic in a matchup of Southeast division foes that come in right next to each other in the conference standings. The Magic are 26-28 and have the No. 8 seed while the Hawks are just behind them at 25-28 in the No. 9 spot. Let’s take a look at my top three Hawks and Magic player prop bets to consider.

Before we get to the prop bets themselves, a few big-picture items to note: The Magic are 5.5-point home favorites in this matchup, which has a point total of 222 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Hawks are mostly healthy with Trae Young (Achilles) probable. For the Magic, Jalen Suggs (quad) is doubtful.

Best Prop Bets for Magic vs. Hawks on DraftKings Sportsbook

Dyson Daniels over 5.5 rebounds (-125)

Daniels has been very good for the Hawks all season and has become even more productive since Jalen Johnson (shoulder) went down for the season. There are lots of numbers that I like for him in this matchup, but my favorite is his rebounding over/under.

He has at least six rebounds in nine of his last 10 games, averaging 7.4 rebounds over that span. He has gone over this number in four straight games.

This will be the first matchup between these teams this season, but normally guards get good rebounds against Orlando, although the Magic’s rotation has changed significantly throughout the season.

Franz Wagner 30+ points (+135)

Wagner has scored 30+ points in 12 of his 34 games this season (35%), including three of his last five games. In his most recent contest, he had 33 points on Saturday at home against the Spurs, and he has averaged 27.6 points over his last eight games, with at least 29 points in five of those games.

Wagner hasn’t scored 30 points in his past matchups with the Hawks, but at plus-money to hit this level based on how hot he has been lately seems like a solid play. Even though Wagner hasn’t reached this level in his past matchups, Atlanta is a favorable matchup, since it plays with so much pace and without Johnson it has struggled to defend opposing forwards.

Trae Young to record a double-double (-135)

Trae has 31 double-doubles in his 49 games (63%) this season, including four of his last six. He’s either reached that level or been just one assist short in six of his last seven contests.

On Saturday, he lit up the Wizards for 35 points and 14 assists in his most recent game, and he continues to carry a huge workload without Johnson. He will get a break by not having to face Suggs, and this is a solid number to get him to deliver in an important game for both teams.
